A lightweight, low-cost solution for rapid extraction of casualties under the most extreme conditions.

The NET™ offers low-impact to the combat load, with high value to the operator, providing efficiencies and utility in urban and rugged terrain. The NET™ is available in four different versions in order to accommodate mission critical requirements of operators in a variety of hostile environments to include firefighters, SWAT Officers, and other first responders. Whether you are rescuing a civilian or saving your own, don't be caught without your NET™!
The NET™ provides all the utility of a rope with much greater efficiency and safety.
The loops of the NET act as handles for pulling, eliminating the risk of slippage commonly experienced with a rope. A simple girth hitch similarly eliminates the need to ever have to tie cumbersome knots in order to anchor, grab equipment, or connect multiple NET's to increase the length required by the mission. At 10.7 ounces, its tubular nylon construction offers a much lighter, yet just as strong, alternative to a much heavier fiber rope. Finally, the NET is fully compliant with the Occupational Safety and Health Standard for a web lifting sling.
The NET™ is 100% American made and constructed of durable MIL-SPEC webbing with a minimum break strength (MBS) of 4,000 lbs and a rated capacity of 640 lbs. It consists of five (5), one (1) inch, tubular nylon loops, each two (2) feet in diameter, and is ten (10) feet end-to-end. The NET™ weighs approximately 10.7 ounces, is tactically color-coded for ease of use, and can be comfortably stowed in the cargo pocket of the utility uniform. Contact Front also offers a 100% American made tactical MOLLE pouch for storage which can be purchased separately or together as a kit with the NET™ at a discounted rate. Contact Front offers unmatched production capacity and quality backed by a 2-year unlimited warranty on both the NET™ and the NET™ pouch.
The 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division was the first unit to be fielded and trained with the Nexus Extraction Tool™ on September 11, 2007 in preparation for a combat deployment to Al Anbar Province in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
"The (NET™) will save lives down the road...We could have used (it) on more than one occasion in Al Anbar last year (2006)."
LtCol Chris Dowling, Commanding Officer, Third Battalion, Fifth Marines
Since the first fielding in 2007, other services and units, to include those which are special operations capable (SOC), have added the NET as mission essential equipment. The following are some users of the NET™:
Center loop identification is critical to the efficient and effective employment of the NET™. Contact Front trains all operators to identify the center loop and use this loop as a reference point to employ the rest of the device. Failure to begin operations with the center loop may result in improper employment. During hours of light and in visible conditions, the center loop is readily identifiable as it is the only loop that is olive drab. In periods of darkness, or reduced visibility due to other environmental conditions, the NET is the only rescue sling in its class that provides for rapid and easy identification.
The NET's center- loop identification system (C-LIS™) consists of a proprietary slip resistant band around the center loop which is easily distinguishable by feel and touch. The tactile properties of the C-LIS™ also allows for easy identification while in mission oriented protective posture (MOPP), Level A suiting, or wearing other tactical, cold weather, or fire resistant gloves.

The Rapid Egress Device™ RED™ line focuses on emergency bail-out and rapid egress from hostile conditions. The robust bail-out equipment currently on the market offers safe, controlled, and “high speed” egress out of most structures. Nevertheless, unless you are carrying the equipment, it isn't very effective. Contact Front focuses on only offering those items that are practical, effective, but most of all light and not cumbersome, to ensure operators are able to easily carry them so the device is available when it's needed most.
